I am man and I am 20 years old. My doctor told me that I have Fordyce's condition. What is Fordyce condition? Is it dangerous? It is very embarrassment; yellow growths are on my genitals. Every girl thinks that I have some kind of STD. Is there any treatment for this condition?
Hi! Fordyce's condition is not dangerous at all and very common under young adults. It is a skin condition in which small and elevated yellow growths develop in groups on the lips, in the mouth, tongue, cheeks, female labia, and the penis. You may sometimes find it on the lower lip as well, even though it is rare. The small yellow spots are caused by an overgrowth of the sebaceous glands. They are sebaceous glands without hair follicles... There is no treatment needed, but you can apply Tretinoin gel or cream daily to the affected areas. It will reverse the effects over time and prevent it from getting worse. You can remove it with laser vaporization.

So basically...I have had those bastarding little spots on my penis for about a year and a half now. However I think I kinda got the size to decrease by washing them gently with a louffa thing. They seem smaller now so Im less self consciuos but still. I hate those little guys. do NOT ever try and pop them. Haha It doesnt go well and they get bigger...and stay....and cause embarassment. Hope my little technique works for you guys...but maybe Im just lucky?
