Hello everyone.
My problen is the opposite to most of those posted.
I have easy retraction of foreskin before/during sex or whatever. My problem is that, afterwards, the foreskin stays retracted, rather than naturally moving back into its normal position while flacid. I must do this manually - it is not painful at all it is just that the foreskin sometimes repeatedly retracts even after I intervene. Is this 'normal?' Should I be worried at all? |

At first I thought you had, what is called paraphimosis, but I guess I was wrong. Paraphimosis is when you retract the foreskin and it won’t go back at all, when it hurts and causes penis to swell. This is obviously not your case as it can go back; it just needs a little pushing.
Was your foreskin always like that? How’s your hygiene? Do you wash your penis regularly, every day…..under the foreskin as well? You should!
Anyway, I think this is ok because it is not causing you any problems and discomfort.
If you do notice that something may be wrong, you should consult a doctor. |

First,why do you describe this condition as a "problem"? A mild case of paraphimosis, as long as it does not cause discomfort, swelling, constriction of blood flow or other impairment, may be considered a good thing.
In fact, about the age of puberty, my brother and cousin and I decided that we wanted to be rid of our nasty foreskins, and worked intentionally to keep them retracted permanently. It was not as easy for me as for them or you, because mine was too loose to stay retracted without many months of effort. Now, after many years, we enjoy all the benefits of actual circumcision without the need for the actual surgery. Consider yourself lucky and envied by many. |
