Found A lump after Hood Piercing!!

Ok I am a 21 y/o female and the other day 1/3/07 I found a lump in under the hood where my clit piercing was (((Horizontal.))) I realized it after my ring had some how fallen out. I was feeling around and then this morning when I woke up my clit was soar and I had all these little bumps around it that are not painful but they itch now I have only been with my partner for a year and we started having unprotected sex a little over a month and a half ago. I am scared should I go to the Dr? Or will it go away by itself? Please help me this is so wierd. Could it be from the piercing? Is it a sign that the piercing got infected.? I have only had the piercing for about a month or so now..... Crying or Very sad

i believe what happened was that the bottom part of the piercing didnt fall out. that happened to me too....... the skin grew over the bottom ball so it cant fall out
