I am 26 old female and I am pregnant for 2 months. I visit my doctor regularly and everything was just fine till yesterday when there was found drop in HCG level. I know that HCG would increase in the first three months of pregnancy so I am very worried because of it. I would like to know what this drop may indicate.
Hi, I had problems with levels of HCG during my pregnancy too. It is important hormone which indicates proper developing of your pregnancy during the first three months. You are right that it would increase permanently. It is formed by cells which form placenta. Drop of HCG may indicate that something is happening but until you make ultra sound don't make any bad conclusions. Anyway you need to see your doctor and he will tell you more precisely what to do.
