Fungal sore throat?

I have been fighting a systemic fungus infection for a year and a half. I have followed the diets, taken the antifungal drugs (that do not work), and various over the counter herbs , antifungals and probiotics. Most of my strength has returned but I have not been able to get rid of my sore throat. It is located behind the nasal passages and gets worse immediately if I eat anything with sugar in it. I also have a clear discharge from the nose when I eat sugar or sugar producing foods. I try to avoid these foods but slip now and then. The problem is probably in the sinuses but am not real interested in long term antifungal drug regimen, steroids or surgery. Any help would be appreciated. Joe
