Gall blader problem

My mom is confined in the hospital for almost 4 days. The doctor diagnosed that her gall bladder form particles that if not detected early it will form a gallstone. The doctor said that it will be cured through medication. In her 4th day she is about to be released but the doctor notice that her yellowish skin,so he advised the nurse to get a blood sample from her. Is their a possibility that my mom has a Hepatitis?
