Gallbladder probs and prolonged period

i was in hospital last week as i had serious pain in my right abdomen - i was diagnosed with stones in my gallbladder. My period started 2 days before i was admitted into hospital and now i have been bleeding for nearly 2 weeks.

Is this normal with gallbladder problems or should i go to my doctor??
