Gardarsil shot, Late period, Negative Pregnancy test?

Hey!

I have taken all my 3 gardasil shots. After the first 2 I didnt feel anything very unsual except fever. After the last one I felt almost depressed for about 3 weeks (on my holiday) yippie. I also didnt get my period for 2 months, that means it was at least one month late. I didnt think this had anything to do with the shot, but now I think it did.

I also had problems with my throat and it felt like I had a cold for a couple of weeks. I read that this could be because the immune system is trying to fight the virus, but I never heard that anyone had a late period after taking any other shots than gardasil, did you? Did anyone else feel kind of depressed after yours?

i'm glad to have found these posts because I had my first Gardasil shot on the 28th of August and it is now nearly a month and a half since my last period. My menstrual cycle is pretty regular and in the days leading to when my period was due to come, i experienced the normal cramping and aches, but the day came and gone and there was still no sign whatsoever of a period. I still have these aches and it's SO annoying..my period better come or the world will have to feel the wrath of my PMS forever.. these moodswings are driving me and everybody around me nuts!
I was really starting to worry before I finally decided to see if the Gardasil shot and my period had anything to do with each other.. I'm relieved that this seems to be the reason that my period is late, but how much longer should i expect to wait? a few weeks? a few months? what if months pass and it never comes?? what does that mean? can anybody please tell me? Thank you so much in advance!

I have been freaking out too. I'm so glad others experience this!!!!!!

I'm not sexually active...and I'm not on birth control....it's been about a month after my 2nd shot and NO PERIOD. I didn't even suspect that it was the shot's fault but now I guess/hope its the Gardasil. Why didn't any doctor tell me!!!!!! Grrrr!!!!!

i just took my 2nd shot my period is late like a month now and i took a test a wek ago and it came positive..... now my question is will my baby will be ok? or will it have prombles?

I have had all three Gardasil shots.

Each time i had the shot I experienced late period and hormonal/pms/pregnancy symptoms for WEEKS! To the point where I thought without a doubt I must be pregnant, but negative - both urine and bloods.

First shot I was a week late, sick for 6weeks - tender breasts, nausea, extreme hunger, weightloss, pelvic cramps (mild), frequent urination, fatigue etc

Second shot I was over 2 weeks late for period, sick for 4 weeks - same symptoms as above.

Third and final Gardasil shot I am currently still waiting on period (was due september 29th) am always 29days regular my whole life, never late until these vaccinations or when i was pregnant with son. Received shot 3rd september (last period was August 30th). Swore with all my symptoms I was pregnant, but dr confirmed today blood results prove negative. Feel like I was going crazy, definately not imagining all these things.

All too convenient that this has happened after EVERY gardasil shot. Has to be a correlation!

Wish I NEVER received the vaccinations!!!!!

Who knows the long term affects on our bodies and fertilities!

This drug should be taken off the market until proper research has been done into the side effects and LONG TERM side effects.

Am glad I found this site and have found many others indicating similiar situations you have gone through due to this vaccination.

I received my forst Gardail shot today. My period ALWAYS comes on the 8th. About 10 minutes after the shot I was really light headed/dizzy. I started feeling a sensation in my lower stomach/uterus area and it felt like my period was about the come. Sure enough a few minutes later I started bleeding, headache, cramps; the menstral combo. So I don't know. My period was early unlike most of you, but it NEVER goes off cycle.

I am so glad I am not the only one! I had the vaccine 2 days ago. and I was supposed to have my period today so I don't know if that might be it. But I will take a pregnancy test ASAP

I will have to agree. These posts made me feel a whole lot better. Statring with the very first one. Not having periods for months and a sore throat. I am feeling exactly like that. I took my second shot at the end of September. Recently I have been feeling like I am starting to catch a cold. It feels like I have something in my throat along with slight nasuea. As for the menstrual cycle. I was suppose to start the same week as the shot, but it now has been a month late. I too was scared on whether or not I was pregnant, both urine and blood came back negative. I'm just waiting for all this to be over. I thought I'd never say this, but I wish I had my period. It gives me a sense of knowing my body is okay.

I was on the depo shot for a year and then started taking birth control pills. My period was regular throughout the entire time. I got the Gardasil shot in May and have not had a period since my last one which was 04/15/08. I'm still on the pill and not pregnant. ( Trust I've taken hundreds of urine and blood pregnancy test.) It's good to know that there are a hundreds of women experiencing the same symptoms that I am. But it is still scary, I haven't had in 6 months. I didn't want the shot, but my Dr. kept telling me how much I needed it to protect myself from HPV. Turns out it doesn't even stop you from getting it according to studies. You can still get HPV after getting the Gardasil Vaccine.

My advice, don't get the Gardasil Vaccine. We'll all have a third arm by the year 2035. Lol. Just kidding. But, if I could rewind time, I would have never gotten it.

i had my 2nd HPV vacine 14th November but i havent had my period scince before the 1st vacine!!
