Gastric Diverculis

Hi, my mother is 62 years old and she is suffering from gastritis for a long time. She is visiting her doctor regularly and she is taking prescribed medication too. When she visited doctor last time he made x-ray of her stomach and told her that she has gastic diverticulis. I would like to know something more about this.

Hi, gastric diverticuls are spaces which are appearing in the gastric wall and food may be caught there easily. Specific treatment for this does not exist but your mother has to take food which is not heavy, spicy and difficult for stomach. She also needs to go on regular controls and I think everything will be just fine.
