Gastritis and long term Oruvail use?

Hello! I want to know something more about gastritis and long term Oruvail use. Should patient inform doctor about gastritis or not? I have some problems (same as my friend) and she takes Oruvail. So, I assume that my doctor prescribe me same drug. I hope that you will help me with this. Thanks!

Hello! Oruvail is NSAID. This group of drugs can cause many gastrointestinal problems. So, if you already have one (gastritis) you must tell your doctor about that. Oruvail may make your problem worse. You can even get ulcer! Some of complication can be fatal (bleeding, ulceration, etc)! I am sure that your doctor find acceptable solution.
