I just found out that i have genital herpes type 1. I've been with my current boyfriend for 4 months and I have a question.
Is there anyway that i can know that my bf have oral or genital herpes? because he says that he haven't had any symptoms. My doctor says that the possibilities that he has it are high. I'm afraid that he doesn't have it and i can spread it to him. Although I've been with him many time and I've had unprotected sex, oral sex and he uses his saliva as a lubricant every time.
Now I'm afraid that he performs oral sex on me and gets oral herpes in case he doesn't have it. So i don't know what to do.
The doctor doesn't recommend me treatment and told me to use condoms every time even though she thinks he already has it.
