Hi, my sister is 35 years old and she was drug abuser. Now she is on therapy to quit with drugs and I would like to help her as much as possible. The biggest problem are her crisis when she is sweating, has fever and very often she is vomiting. If someone knows how to help her please share it with me.

I would suggest that she ask her doctor for some ativan to take when she is have high levels of withdrawal. This is what I had to take and without I would of never make it through recovery I dont think.

Hi, addiction is very big problem and beside all medications against anxiety, sickness, hallucinations and more, it is very important to give strong support to person with such problem. You shouldn't leave her alone and you have to talk to her all the time, explaining her that she is on right way and that she will feel better. Also it is good to support her interests for other things which will occupy her minds.
