I work with a 5 year-old female with a history of GBS. She has also been diagnosed as Oppostionally Defiant and with Attention Deficit Disorder, Combined Type. She has a history of attaching her teacher with a fork when told to clean up her eating area, along with escaping from the house and wandering on the highway. Could these be related to her GBS history?

It is highly unlikely that her other problems are related to GBS. GBS is a disease of the Peripheral Nervous System. As such, GBS affects muscles and nerve cells, that is, physical symptoms as opposed to mental functioning.
