Gonococcal infection

HI. I'm 26 year old sexually active man.
Just recently I have noticed that I have some rather delicate problems.
First thing I have noticed was very painful urination. You can't even imagine how frightened I was when I felt this.
This stopped about three days later and I stop thinking about it but after these three days I have notices a cloudy discharge coming out from my penis.
Than I was sure I have got some sexually transmitted disease. I talked about this with my girlfriend but she doesn’t know anything about this and feel no symptoms what so ever.
Any advices?

I'm quite sure you have developed one disease of genitals called gonorrhea caused by gonococcal infection.
Gonococcal infections are caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae bacteria. These infections are usually acquired through sexual contact.
Gonococcal infections are considered sexually transmitted diseases, though not every case of gonorrhea is transmitted by sex. It could be transmitted from mother to child.
You must contact your urologist and receive appropriate treatment imidiately because an untreated Gonococcal infection can cause scars to form inside the urethra and these scars can make later urination difficult.
Usual treatment is antibiotics like ceftriaxone, cefixime, ciprofloxacin or ofloxacin.
