Got what I thought was period, now I am not so sure, How do

I am ALWAYS right on time with my period, almost to the hour. This month I was a week late and it was jsut spotting for a day and half, than 2 days of normal period, than 2 days of spotting again. This was a little strange for me. Now I am needing to go to the bathroom all the time ( I usually go once or twice a day) and I am suddenly experiencing heartburn, which I have never had before. Could I be pregnant? Or is there somehting else going on that I should be worried about? I took a pregnancy test and it came up Negative.

The days you expect your period are going to be days that a preganncy test is accurate!

IF you are late and a preganncy test is negative, there is a good chnace you are truly not pregnant.
