Hello. I'm 25 year old male and just recently I have developed one problem which frightened me a bit. You see, for always had good and healthy teeth but about two weeks ago, I have noticed that I have bad smell coming out from my mouth.
But, when I looked in, there weren’t any impacted teeth. So this confused me a bit. Anyway these last couple of days I have noticed some other sings such as slight bleeding from my gums and swollenness and redness. Like I said, I don’t know anything about this but it looks like I have developed some gum infection. How can you know is this problem or something else?

Hello. I also don’t know a lot about your problem but I can tell that it really sounds like one inflammation of gum called gingivitis.
Gum problems are common but fortunately usually can be prevented with good dental care and dental hygiene. You see, they can be related to some impacted tooth but this isn’t always.
You have mentioned almost all typical sings of gum infection such as bad mouth smell, bleeding, swollenness, redness and mild pain while eating. This can happen when normal bacterial balance is not balanced any more. I don’t know what to tell you more about this beside the fact that these infections are usually not serious but you should contact your dentist to get appropriate treatment.
