HCG still in system?

I was wondering how long the pregnancy hormone stayed in your system? I recently had a medical abortion on Nov. 15, 06 and I found out on Oct 24'07 that i was pregnant. I had my period on Dec 14-17th and havent had it this month(Jan). I took 3 tests, one inacurate results, second read a faint faint positive and 3 was a digital and ready "pregnant". Could it possiable be that I am pregnant or just the hormones from the last time? Please let me know something...thanks!
