| I was on birth control for 3 months in 2005, then decided to go on the shot in June of 2005. I decided to get off of the shot August of 2006 and got birth control again, took it for a few days, then decided to stop. My fiance & I are trying to have a baby now. My periods last 3-15 days, then it will go away and I think Im okay until next month. Well, few days later my period comes back (its been almost 8 months since being on any birth control...I thought my body would be back to normal). In August my periods never came...slight spotting here & there was just about it. Then in like December/January my periods started and wouldnt go away for like 12-15 days. Well, this past January I had my period for 2 weeks and it went away and I never had it again until middle/end of March. and it lasted for a week. It went away a few days ago and now I have it again and its really dark, like brown color.Usually my period isnt bad. It isnt all that heavy, and when I go to sleep Im okay--theres no blood appearing-but then when I get up in the morning to use the bathroom the blood appears (when i pee it comes out in big drops)--when i have my period when i go to bed i dont wear a pad/tampon--so uncomfortable!!....anyways... i dont know whats going on. i dont have insurance or the money to get checked out.for some reason i no longer am elgible for planned parenthood even though I dont make that much money a year or whatever.so, im just really concerned because my period bein like this messes up my love life with my fiance. the days after my period im so tired from work that theres not much lovey-dovey going on, and when i am able to be "lovey-dovey" i have my period again!its sooo annoying!Can anyone help me?Is this normal?? |
