HELP! Penis infection? discomfort/pain and red bumps

I have had this problem for close to a year now. I am too afraid to discuss this with my parents and to go to a doctor. I am still a virgin. On and right under the head of my penis, above my circumcision scar, there are little red bumps/patches that are very sore to the touch. Also the tip/opening of my penis is very sore. When it rubs against my boxers it hurts and is discomforting. It especially hurts after I masturbate, and it seems to get worse after I masturbate. I went for almost a month one time without masturbating to see if it would get better, and it did a little bit, but it is now worse than ever. :\ I would love to know what is wrong with my penis. If it is just extremely chafed/raw? or I have a yeast infection/STI? or what. Can someone please help? Thank you so much!

If you have had it for close to a year it is probably a fungal infection. There is nothing to be ashamed about. You need to let your parents know you need to go to the doctor to have this treated. They should understand that you don't' want to talk about it in detail.
