I had an abortion a little over a month ago. I started taking the pill a few weeks after the abortion, and have had unprotected sex since then. I started my period yesterday, but took have been taking pregnancy tests and they all come out positive. does anyone know what this could mean?

YES... I showed a positive on a pregnancy test for almost 6 weeks after my first abortion, and it is 100% normal.

The pregnancy hormones in some women take a lot longer to lower, AND pregnancy tests now are very sensitive..

The HCG count of a pregnancy at 7 weeks can be 75,000, BUT A pregnancy test can pick up HCG as low as 15-20.. So it is likely that you still have a minute amount of HCG left in your system.
