The only way to get rid of an itchy vagina is to kill the source that is causing the itching.
There are many things that could cause the itchiness. The least serious are detergents you use for washing, deodorants, panty liners with special smells, …and things like that.

Another cause could be the multiplications of the yeast that already lives in the vagina. The balance in the vagina can be disturbed by presence of sperm, or by taking antibiotics, birth control pills, diabetes, or pregnancy, etc. One of the most common yeast is candida. It can be treated with different creams or suppositories.

The third possible reason is sexually transmitted disease that can also be cured.

The only way to find out what is causing your itchiness is to make an appointment with your gynecologist and see what the problem is. This is the best possible way to get rid of the itching.
