The rash of molluscum contagiosum is characterized by discrete, 2 -5 mm papules that are flesh-colored and dome-shaped with a central, sharply depressed center. In children the rash is most often found on the face, trunk, armpits, and extremities and in adults the rash is most often found in the pubic and genital region. The lesions are frequently grouped together. Groups can be found in various areas of the body and molluscum contagiosum is usually not found on the palms and soles. HPV cause genital wart. They are single or multiple bumps that appear in the genital areas of men and women including the vagina, cervix, vulva, penis, and rectum. Genital warts are soft, moist, or fleshes colored and appear in the genital area, they sometimes appear in clusters that resemble cauliflower-like bumps, and are raised or flat, small or large. Some types of HPV can cause common skin warts, such as those found on the hands and soles of the feet.
