I was just wondering if you could get HPV from shaving. I know its skin to skin contact with someone infected and if you use a razor that someone else used isnt there skin cells still on it. I am asking because my brother used my razor and is sexually active and i have gotten HPV. I am sexually active and realize there is a posibilty i could have gotten it from my partner.
i'm not sure but would say it is possible to spread hpv with razors. it is very important to not share personal items such as razors or towels with anyone due to the spread of infection. however being that you are sexually active, this is something you need to discuss with your partner regardless and would need to get tested.
