Hi, I really need advice!
I slept in the same bed with this girl, for who I found out later she has HPV… I don’t know which kind of HPV. I know HPV can be sexually transmitted, but can it be through tanning beds?

Hi,
You are right HPV is almost 100% transmitted through sexual intercourse. But I must slightly disappoint you: there have been cases reported of HPV infection from tanning beds, but these cases are very rare and it is extremely unlikely that virus would be transmitted through bed sheets, etc. And the negative side of HPV is it’s incubation period… it can develop in a month or in a year or more!
Anyhow, infection with HPV is less possible from tanning beds.

Hi There,

In sex when u swet that can be a medium to tranfer virus from one skin to the other. So it is not necessarily got to be the bed sheet.Go to a doctor asap.
