Had my period abnormal, the pregnancy test turned negative

Hi,

I am planning for pregnancy, this month i did a pregnancy test before my periods appear, and it turned out to be negative, but my period was very less. Usually it happens for 4-5 days and this time it was just 2-1/2 days with less bleeding..should i go in for another pregnancy test or is it normal?

You should never test before your period is supposed to come, always on the day your period or the day after. If you got your period, you probably did not get pregnant. However, some women even bleed in pregnancy, so maybe you could do another test to make sure.
