Dear Friends
I had protected sex last week with no oral, week later I have permanent burning on the tip of my penis. Please provide me with some information on the following questions:
1. Is it an STD?
2. Could this be reaction to klinex anti virus tissue used to clean the penis?
3. Is it because of stress (as I always get worried about possible STD/HIV after sex - that is why had sex only two times in my life)?
Thanks a lot for information and please share with me anything you have on above.
Thank you very much. |

are there any other symptoms you have?Do you feel the need to urinate frequently? If so it may just be a urinary infection.Another possibility is some irritation at the end of the urethra (the tube from the bladder to the penis) and this could be due to infection, localised problems such as rubbing (if you are circumcised) or a sexually transmitted symptom – this is more likely if you have had a recent change in sexual partner.
If your symptoms persist, and certainly if you notice any penile discharge or you start to feel unwell, then you should ge tto a doctor right away. Actualy if I were you Iw ould go anyhow seeing as you know there is something wrong you will need to take some medication for it.Good luck! |

Thanks Melissa, there are no other symptoms. First day when it started I needed to go to toilet quite frequently but the next day it got back to normal and burning is less permanent. I went to GUM clinic and they took samples and guess what - they said they will contact me within two weeks only if something comes out positive - I am gonna die of anxiety untill then
I wonder whether this could be reaction to condom as it burnt when I put it on - reaction came a bit late though (week later). I also traveled last week and had stress and yes I am circumsized.
Thanks again for help. |
