Hi, my mother is 66 years old and she is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for several years and also has problems with heart in the same time. Her doctor prescribed her Halpfprin and she is is taking it very long. I would like to know side effects of this medication. Thank you very much.
Hi, I am also using Halfprin which is basically salicylate. Side effects of this group of drugs are not so frequent but when it happens usually it is very serious condition. Side effects may be loss of hearing, blood in urine, allergy, heavy breathingIf some of these happen you should go to hospital as soon as possible.
