Hi, I used Abilify also for bipolar disorder. It worked for me after only couple of weeks. I noticed a difference in my life and mood. I am much calmer now, and I don’t have all those mood swings any more. I am less irritable, and I don’t get depressed so easily as before. Abilify is usually not used more than 6 weeks, unless the doctor days so. If you notice any symptoms like hives, swelling of your face, difficulty breathing, fever, uneven heartbeats, jerky muscle movements, headache, confusion or anything unusual, call a doctor immediately. Abilify can also impair thinking, judgment or motor skills. I am telling you all those things just in case, but you’ll probably be just fine. I hope Abilify will help you as much as it helped me with bipolar disorder.
