Has Abraxane been proved effective against ovarian cancer too?

My wife is 47 years old and she is going through a tough period in her life. She has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and the doctors are still debating on the proper course of action. I have been talking to some of my friends who had experience with cancer and they said there are many meds that might be used, one of those is Abraxane. Has Abraxane been proved effective against ovarian cancer too?

Hmm, I don’t think that it has been approved for any other form of cancer other than breast type. Although, I did hear there has been some evidence that it can help with other cancers, prostate cancer for example. And you do realize that is not that easy finding a solid proof of its effectiveness, because it is cancer we are talking about here.
