Hi, I have very painful PMS. I tried many painkillers, but they didn’t help me. I want to try yoga, because I heard that it could relieve premenstrual symptoms. Has yoga helped you cope with PMS?

Hi, I had the same problem when I was younger. I had mood swings and headaches, my breast hurt and my legs were numb every time when I had PMS. Drugs couldn’t help me with all those symptoms. One day my mother mentioned it to her friend, and she invited me to her yoga classes. I was skeptical, but I had nothing to lose. I needed some time to learn how to do these exercises properly, and after three months, I noticed improvement. Not only that my premenstrual symptoms were relieved, but also I felt better on every aspect of my life. My concentration improved, I managed the stress, and I even lost some weight because I stopped eating so much. I advice you to try yoga, but be patient, don’t expect results after only one month.
