I've had what the doctor thinks is a neuroma in my upper abdominal wall area for about six or so years now (since a serious car accident---the neuroma is right where the seatbelt was pressing). We tried injections which didn't work. I'm thinking of having it removed surgically because the pain prevents me from a lot of exercise I enjoy and also need for physical therapy. Q: has anyone had this surgery? How did they recover? Anything else I can try? Any risks with the surgery? Can these ever be malignant in this area? Thank you so much! Mira
