Has anyone found their blood glucose reduced on Clonidine?

When you are at my age, you need to accept fact that you will need some medications to use in order to maintain life quality. I am 65 years old man and was prescribed with Clonidine for my blood pressure. The only thing that I was not expecting was to faint often. Someone told me that could be because of reduction of blood glucose. Clonidine seems to be blamed.

Clonidine can have effects on blood glucose. In the matter of fact, Clonidine can lower blood glucose. This levering effect can cause loss of conscience. If you have that much problems with this medication, you should talk about this with your doctor. This conditions can be dangerous if happen while you are driving or working with some device!
