Has anyone gotten high on Vicodin?

Hello, I am a guy 23 years old, a football player and, I broke my leg last year. It is ok now, but it is still healing up, so I am taking pain killers. Vicodin to be exact. It works about just fine, but I have a feeling that I am getting high on it. Am I just imagining things or, is it really that strong. Has anyone else gotten high on Vicodin?

You are right. Not only does it qualifies as a drug, but there is people that drink it just for it's opiatic effects. It is similar to codeine. Taken with alcohol, or other painkiller, antidepressant - anything that slows down your heart rate, could be dangerous, and even fatal. There are a lot of meds that you shouldn't drink along with Vicodin, so consult your doctor, and ask him about the drug interactions of Vicodin.
