Hi, I have lupus, but only ANA test is not enough to diagnose lupus, because it may be characteristic of some other diseases like scleroderma, Sjörgen’s syndrome or rheumatoid arthritis. So, until further tests are performed you can’t make any conclusion. If it turns out that you actually have lupus, there are medications to treat it’s symptoms. Usual treatment is based on following medications: nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), like Aspirin, cortisone drugs/steroids (like prednisone), to prevent inflammation spreading, antimalarial drugs (hydroxychloroquine), and cytotoxic drugs (such as methotrexate)
