Hi. I have lumps on mediasternum and I was wondering if any of you experienced anything like that? Could this be due to lymphoma? I have three lumps which seem to be clustered together off to the right side in the same area. I have scheduled an MRI but I still wanted to check out what could this be. Thanks.

I really don’t know what to tell you. Smaller lumps are usually swollen lymph nodes which swell if you have infection of some kind. Is it possible that you have some kind of infection??? Other than that, I know that bumps can occur as a result of much more serious diseases, but I don’t want to scare you – MRI will tell you exactly what that is. I’m sure you’ll be OK. Good luck.
