I am 27 years old and I have been practicing yoga for almost a year now. Even though most of my friends consider it girlish thing, I found it to be very refreshing and relaxing. My problem is the instructor. She is very beautiful and I just do not know how to approach her. Not that I am shy, it is just the thing that she might refuse me and I guess it would be a bit embarrassing for me to go to her classes after that. Have you ever dated a teacher/instructor? What should I do?

The best thing is to wait a bit. Perhaps this is just some small crush that will pass eventually. If not, well, I would try and what happens, happens. I mean, life is not that long, think like that. You can find some other yoga trainer, if you wish. Then again, you are both adults, so why would it be embarrassing? You asked her, she refused you and that is it. You continue going to her classes as if nothing happened. Who knows, maybe she will change her mind in time. That is possible and I have seen it happen.
