Hi, I am 18 years old male and I am looking for some sport which will make me spend my energy and in the same time will teach me how to defend myself. I live in very bad neighborhood so it would be very useful for me. I would like to hear if someone has experience with boxing.

Hi, I was trained boxing for several years and for me it was very useful. Except boxing technique boxing is very good for developing strength and agility. There are many exercises which will improve your reflexes, speed and strength. However don't forget that boxing is an art and not some skill which you would use against other people.
