I am 5 months pregnant and my question is not a medical one. I have one small problem. I have a hard time choosing a girl name. My husband gave a name to our son so it is up to me to choose a girl name. That was the deal; however, I never thought that I will have so much trouble with it. Do you have any suggestions?

I am happy for you and your baby, I am sure she will be pretty and healthy. I understand your dilemma. Even though it may seem like choosing a baby name is easy, some parents find it so hard to do. They feel like if they chose some name that they will stop liking it after some time. As stupid as it sound it is not. Every name is special on its own way. Some people believe that a name can determine destiny of a child. I can give you some suggestions, but you know that it is still up to you to choose a name. One of the most beautiful girl names for me is Elena, Stella and Angela. I don't know why, but they mean so much to me that I will probably give one to my daughter, if I have one. You can talk to your husband about that, tell him that you have problem with the names, and ask him to help you. Make a list of top five names and go through that list together with him. You can also think about names like Laura, Anna, Maria, Vivian. I can go on with these names forever, but at the end it is up to you. Just relax and don't be afraid that you will make a mistake. The only thing that matters is that your baby girl is healthy. Good luck!
