I stopped using birth control pills back in September. My first two periods after getting off the pill where consistent. After the third period, my period was a week late and then after my fourth period it was late again by another week. I am now at 41 day cycle, i'm 29 years old, and still not pregnant. My periods are a very dark brownish/redish color and heavy....is this normal? or is it time to see the doc?

I'm having the same problem as the person below. I'm 30 years old. I had to stop my birth control after I got married about 5 months ago because it started discoloring the skin on my face. I'm trying to conceive as well but its just not happening. I had a physical and womens exam and I am fine. However, at my last exam the doctor did say that I may have a hard time getting pregnant and that I may need to take fertility drugs. Advice anyone??
