Lately I have noticed that my daughter is scratching intensively, only one nostril. It appears that she is having irritation in one nostril only. Hers nostril becomes red and swelled. Is it possible that only one nostril is sick and the other is not? What should I do about it; to except or to forbid that kind of behavior?
It is hardly possible that person has only one nostril sick and the other not. The most probably cause of irritation in one nostril only (especially in children) is foreign object in a nostril. Your daughter, probably, put something in her nostril, which stuck and it is disturbing her now. Instead of forbidding that kind of behavior, you should take her to a doctor.
