Hi,
Ive currently been on BC since October and have taken several pills late since Dec. In the past month I have gained gained weight (or just stayed constantly bloated), been nausea ( every morngin) and thrown up quite a few mornings and just had a general feeling of being tired and cranky with headaches. My boyfriend and I do use condoms regulary, but sometimes we wait a bit. I have also found that pressure on my lower abdomen is uncomfortable at times. I did have my period this month, it was 3 days late but it did come; however, my symptoms have not gone away. Certain foods are not sounding good and I find it difficult to decide what I want to eat due to this.
Should I take a pregnancy test? I'm very unsure since I had my period.

| Even on birth control, you can become pregnant. My mom had a period for five months before she found out she was pregnant with my brother. You can take a pregnancy test to make sure, but there are other reasons you get those symptoms, it's not always pregnancy. |
