Hey, I'm 15 and have been masturbating every 1-3 days for about a year and a half. I used to do it because it was fun and I enjoyed it, but now I'm dependent on it as a stress reliever.

Anyway, it's been about 4 weeks since I last masturbated =\ I don't think it could at any worse time because the school year is coming to an end and I'm getting really stressed out. I've tried relaxing and thinking of nothing or thinking of sex, but isn't working =( And if I play with it a little bit to get it hard, the orgasm doesn't last very long and it doesn't do much (if anything) to relieve stress.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It is not uncommon for sexual desire and performance to be lost during stressful times. As you say, you are getting stressed at the moment, and it is more important to think of ways of reducing your stress levels. Your sexual performance will then return to normal.

Try listening to relaxing music, aromatheraphy or herbal baths to try and relax. Also, try speaking with your teachers or parents. Most of all, don't worry. Exams will soon be over and then you will hopefully be able to relax and enjoy masturbating once again. Regards, John

JB9900 has given you some great suggestions.

Some people use sports to distract themselves or to work off stress.
Others prefer music, or running, or yard work, or even dating.

At your age of 14, your rate does not appear to be excessive, and the fact that you're less than satisfied with your orgasm at this time is not all that unusual.

You might try laying off the attempts to climax for a week or two. When your body is ready to start again, you'll know it. Usually, most sexually mature boys will have a nocturnal emission or a "wet dream" about every 14 days if they don't produce a climax themselves.

Work on relaxing and distract yourself some other way. It will work out.
