Im hoping someone can help me. My mother who is going to be 53 on saturday has been getting very sick in the past 2 weeks. I saw today and it looked as though she has aged 20 years in two weeks. She has been experiencing fatigue, muscle and joint pains, dark circles under her eyes and her eyes even look a little yellowish to me. She had a drs appto and they took blood tests. The other thing is that she has lost weight everywhere except for her stomach, it is severely distended and bloated. the dr put her on a diaretic to get the swelling down but that hasnt helped. The reason i need some help is that she wont tell me anything that is going on and im hopig someone knows something of these symptoms. My dad is afraid that she has a tumor. I dont know but I am extremely worried and Im not prepared to lose my mom. This thing is progressing from bad to worse please help!!!

Hello! I am sorry your Mom is doing badly, the symptoms she has are pointing that there must be something going on with her. I would like to help this or that way, but I just can’t be much of a help diagnosing your Mom’s condition. With the symptoms she has, she can’t be playing games with her health, she has to go see the doctor again and again, until she finally gets the diagnose.
The thing she doesn’t want to tell you what is going on with her is somewhat stupid, wouldn’t it be better if she told you and you altogether fight the problem?!
You give your best to make her tell you everything from top to bottom, no secrets! She has to understand she is doing it for her own sake, and you are there to help her any time.
You just don’t let her keep everything for herself, she has to talk about her problems and gets one thing clear- the earlier she speaks- the sooner her problem could be solved. I bet she wouldn’t want her condition get even worse and develop into some more serious problem!!
I give you warm hugs and keeping my fingers crossed!!
