Hi! For some time I use iPod. I Noticed that I have problem with hearing. People around me sometimes ask me are I deaf. Can I have hearing loss with 20? Please tell me something about relation between hearing loss and music listening.
Hi! Yes, you can have significant hearing loss with 20. Music listening can induce stress to the auditory system, to the hearing system. Maybe you noticed that when you went to a concert, that you had experience of some ringing in your ears. That is a sign that the inner ear has been subjected to significant stress. While that may not in itself produce a permanent hearing loss, similar sorts of experiences with loud sounds, as accumulate over life can in fact have a very damaging effect. So, think about that when you listening a music.
