Heart Palpitations

On Dec.11th I had my last ovary taken out.About 2 weeks later my heart felt like it was skipping beats.I went to the doctor and he sent me to a cardiologist and he did an ekg.He said it was a little abnormal.He also did a stress test on me.He said that it was abnormal.I am suppose to have a heart catheter thing done tomorrow.I am scared to have it done.There is a lot of risk with it.Before I had my surgery they gave me an ekg.I called my doctors office and asked if there were anything abnormal on my ekg if they would have went ahead with surgery and they said no.I don't see how I could all of a sudden have an abnormality.I think it could be my hormones.I will be 45 in 3 days.At the time of my surgery my potassium and chloride were also low.Sometimes my heart feels like it will thump out of my chest.Not all the time.After a few days of my heart feeling like it was skipping a beat it didn't do that.Now today it's starting again.Does anyone have any suggestions? Sad
