i waas a heavy user of oxy cautin for about 9 months. I abused them every day for that amount of time. I got up to about 5 or 6 40's a day there for a while. i used them to get high. befor that i used percoset about 10-15 a day to get high then i went to the oxycautin about 1 year with the percoset straight. Before that i used hydrocodone but not a lot of those and not every day. all together i used narcotic pain meds for about 3 years straigt. then i whined my self off of the oxy cautin with hydros and i have been a month clean from everything and dont plan on going back. i was having pain in my lower abdomin since for about 5 years, and i let it go but after i got off the pain meds. i was so scared about my health so i went to the emergency room and my white blood cell count was 20,000 so they kept there for 3 day till they got it down to 11,000 then they let me leave they could not find where the infection was and also my heart rate was staying high the whole time i was there and i dont know how long it was up before that it stays at about 112 and goes up to 154 it doesnt go below 100 bpm. its been like this for about a month i have a cardiallagy apt.in a week. My question to you is do you think from the long term use of pain meds is doing this to my heart because im not using them now and it slowed my heart down for so long while i was on them now its beating out of my chest or do you think its just my body still adjusting to going without? do you think this will go away over time? im scared to death! they checked me for a signs of serious heart disease in the er and couldnt find anything. theres noting wrong with my rythme it just beats really fast. they thought it could be anxiety, but they gave me valume for anxiety and its not really helping my heart still beats fast. what do you think this is, and do you think it will go away after time?
