Heartburn pain when I lay down

About two weeks ago I started getting very bad bloating and burning pain behind my breastbone in the middle of the night. When the pain starts no type of heartburn medicine helps the pain. The pain lasts from 3-4 hours. Gallstones were found in during an ultrasound examiniation of my liver. I get the pain whenever I lay prone within 2 hours of eating anything. I have always been able to do this before. I never get the pain when I am not laying down. I can eat spicy foods or anything else except when I lay down.
