I have irregular periods and with some recent weight loss (still 30 lbs overweight) have my periods regulating around 32 days.
My LMP was Nov 17th and I continued to do pregnancy test - that came back negative - until Christmas eve. On Christmas eve I picked up my niece and newphew and each weight between 60 - 80 lbs.
On Christmas Day, in the evening, I took another test and it came back positive. Very excited. Everything's been fine and I've been taking care of myself (no caffine, watching foods, no alcohol etc for months now).
On Dec 30th at night time, I had some dark brown spotting. The next day it continued and went to emerge. My HCG was 368 and the Dr said it was low; however, I could have actually ovulated later and the sperm not meet the egg until quite late therefore making me earlier in my pregnancy than the "almost 6 weeks" according to standard pregnancy calendars.
I've not soiled any pads and have spotting after standing for longer times. If I lay or sit down, I don't have spotting. I miscarried 2.5 yrs ago around the same time in my pregnancy - however, it was very bloody and immediate without any ceasing.
I have a ultrasound appt tomorrow but am nervous as I'm not sure what's going on inside.
Do you think it's possible that perhaps I ruptured myself when I lifted the kids and the brown is old blood? There's so much information out there.. sounds like it could be anything.
