My sister had a baby 4 weeks ago. Just after giving birth her stomach was still very large and hard. I didn't think that looked right. Mine was soft and loose. She thought nothing of it. Just this week she started bleeding very heavy. Soaking through many pads, right through to the furniture. She went to the hospital, and they sent her home after taking some blood. Other then that she has not been seen from any other doctor, even after the delivery. No internal exam or uterus exam. Is this a serious matter? Can this be something fatal? Every doctor she has gone to say this can happen. Is this true?
