Heavy bleeding after pap-test

I'm 21, and I had my first pap-test done on Friday. Ever since then I’ve been bleeding really heavy. I called my doctor and she said that I would be fine, but this has been going on and off for two days now, and I'm starting to get scared. I've had my period this month so I know it's not that.
Also I've noticed that the bleeding gets worse when I'm active. Like if I walk my dog, or am on my feet for a while. She also put me on a medication called Metronidazole(generic for Flagyl). I'm really scared what should I do???

Some bleeding is ok to occur after pap smear but it shouldn't be heavy bleeding. Flagyl is for treating bacterial infections like bacterial vaginosis and trichomonas (in vagina).

Have you had any bleeding before the examination? Bacterial infections cause bleeding sometimes. Without seeing it is impossible to say why your bleeding occurred.
